We've teamed up with Philly's Yards Brewing Company to help shred blood cancers!
On January 25, we'll tap a keg of Yards' Uncle Brent's Brew, a tasty Session Ale!
Pints are $10, but $5 from every pint will be donated to Carve for Cancer, a non-profit dedicated to the mission of shredding blood cancers through extreme sports events and fundraising.
Our famous Jack Frost martini will also be featured that night, too, with $1 from each martini donated toward the cause.
We'll keep raising money until our keg is kicked!
Carve was founded by east coast shredder and blood cancer warrior, Brent P. Evans (who also happens to have been a good friend of Broadway Grille's bartender, Karen).
In 2010, Brent was diagnosed with stage IV non-hodgkins lymphoma when he envisioned an epic snowboarding event to raise funds to shred cancer while being treated at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. By 2012, the first grass roots fundraiser was underway in the Pocono Mountains. Fast forward to 2016, Carve for Cancer Inc. is now a federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit and the organizations main event has become the Pocono’s premier free-ride snowboard/ski festival. Each year the event brings thousands to the mountain to enjoy a live music, art demos, intense competition, and a whole lot more. C4C is raising tens of thousands of dollars while spreading awareness and funding life-saving research!
